I went over to a friend's house to play Wii Resort and "flew" for my first time. I found Blazing Angels, got it for Christmas and I have been "flying" just about every day since. When I got home I immediately looked for a flying game about WW2 as my Dad and just about all his friends were involved in that war. And I love vintage airplanes. I have not been a gamer before the Wii as I don't make a habit of sitting on my butt- I cannot sit during this game, and I don't know how you could- I feel like I am there. Maybe if I did fly I'd have to do it standing up- I love this game and wish I could get more of my friends to take to it- When I get to elite level I will look for players online if my internet connection will keep up.
Still working on flying skills. Easier to get airborne than other flight simulators, but controls seem a little too sensitive. Will take a lot more practice. Training flight graphics are better than expected because of other reviews, but haven't tried combat yet.
I really enjoy the theme, concept, and visuals of the game but the nunchuck controls have a tendency to need constant synchronizing for some reason.
Tried different controls etc same thing. In a word it sucks. I prefer the older PC flight games. You have to hit all targets or start from scratch. Mine starts diving and will not pull up no matter what and crashes. This is my first on WII and probally my last. Not even close to what I was looking for.
Maybe I'm used to PC platform games but this one certainly does not measure up. Unless you finish a mission without missing any targets, you fail and have to replay. So rather than working through a campaign with some losses, you end up in a perpetual "Groundhog Day". That gets boring very quickly.
